Terms and Conditions

Pricing

 

 

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include installation and/or on-site assembly unless otherwise specified. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.

 

 

Deposit and Acceptance

 

 

A 50% deposit is required prior to the commencement of works.

 

Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of the quote and agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Where fencing is installed on a shared boundary, it is the responsibility of the property owner to obtain agreement from neighbouring property owners prior to accepting the quote.

 

 

Final Payment

 

 

The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the works, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Payments are to be made by bank transfer to Josh Adam Fencing and Gates, unless otherwise arranged.

 

Please include the invoice number as the payment reference.

 

Overdue invoices may be referred to a debt collection agency, and any associated recovery costs may be added to the outstanding balance.

 

 

Site Access and Preparation

 

 

The property owner must ensure the installation team has safe and unobstructed access to the site on the scheduled installation day(s).

 

The site must be clear of obstructions including vehicles, debris, vegetation and other materials.

 

Access to water (e.g. outdoor tap) must be provided if required for installation.

 

Delays caused by restricted access or inadequate site preparation may result in additional charges.

 

 

Permits and Approvals

 

 

It is the responsibility of the property owner to determine whether council approvals or building permits are required.

 

Where required, a copy of the approved permit must be provided before work can commence.

 

Josh Adam Fencing and Gates is not responsible for delays related to permit approvals.

 

 

Underground Services

 

 

The property owner must disclose the location of any underground services, including but not limited to:

 

  • Electrical cables

  • Gas lines

  • Water pipes

  • Irrigation systems

  • Sewer or stormwater pipes

 

 

Josh Adam Fencing and Gates is not responsible for damage to undisclosed or incorrectly located underground services.

 

 

Materials and Ownership

 

 

All materials supplied and installed remain the property of Josh Adam Fencing and Gates until full payment has been received.

 

Failure to pay the final invoice may result in removal or repossession of installed materials where legally permissible.

 

 

Variations and Additional Costs

 

 

Quotes are based on standard soil and installation conditions.

 

Additional charges may apply if unexpected site conditions are encountered, including:

 

  • Hard or rocky ground

  • Tree roots

  • Concrete footings

  • Buried debris or obstacles

 

 

Any additional costs resulting from these conditions will be the responsibility of the property owner.

 

 

Exclusions

 

 

Unless specifically stated in the quote, pricing does not include:

 

  • Retaining walls or retaining required for fencing

  • Removal or disposal of existing fencing

  • Removal of excess sand or soil from site

  • Landscaping repairs following installation

 

 

Where existing fencing is not included for removal, materials will be stacked neatly onsite.

 

 

Clean Up

 

 

Josh Adam Fencing and Gates will make reasonable efforts to leave the work area neat and tidy following installation.

 

Excess sand from post installation may be left onsite in a tidy pile.

 

 

Warranty

 

 

Josh Adam Fencing and Gates provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on all installations.

 

Material warranties are provided by the product manufacturer and are subject to their specific warranty conditions.

 

All timber used is treated for termite resistance in accordance with Australian standards.

 

 

Boundary Position

 

 

Fence placement is installed based on the instructions provided by the property owner.

 

Josh Adam Fencing and Gates is not responsible for boundary disputes or incorrect boundary identification.

 

 

Cancellation

 

 

If a job is cancelled after materials have been ordered or installation scheduled, the deposit may be retained to cover administrative and material costs.

 

 

Delays

 

 

Josh Adam Fencing and Gates is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including:

 

  • Weather conditions

  • Supplier delays

  • Permit approvals

  • Restricted site access
